Deployed pfSense in order to configure DMZ for attack machines

Virtual Lab

Implemented a virtualized pfSense firewall using Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE) to establish a secure and isolated network for deploying attack machines. Configured dual network interfaces—one bridged to the WAN and another to the LAN—ensuring controlled traffic flow and segregation. Disabled hardware checksum offloading to enhance network performance and stability. This setup facilitated the creation of a dedicated environment for penetration testing and cybersecurity experiments, enhancing both security and resource efficiency
